Watermelon Marg
Recipe
Serves: A party!
Pairs with: Chips and queso
Ingredients
1 Watermelon
1/2 Cup Basil
Honey, to Taste (optional)
Tequila, dealers choice
Salt or Tajin to serve
Method
Carve and cube the watermelon into ice-sized pieces
Place the cubed watermelon into zip-lock bags.
Freeze the watermelon overnight or until it's completely frozen.
Combine the frozen watermelon cubes, basil, honey (if desired), and tequila in a blender.
Blend the mixture until smooth.
Rim your glass with Tajin or salt.
Serve immediately!
*A ripe watermelon will have a deep yellow field spot and a hollow sound when you thump the rind with your hand
